For AIM Contracted Providers - Claims Submission and Payment

Can I check the status of my paper and electronic claims on-line?
YES. This is one of the many on-line services available through the AIM, Inc. web site. Click here if you would like to register to check on the status of a claim.

Can I submit claims electronically?
YES. Approximately 70% of AIM, Inc.'s claims are submitted electronically. You can submit electronic claims through your clearinghouse or directly to AIM, Inc. using our web site. Clean electronic claims will auto-adjudicate in less than 2 days of receipt. Click here if you would like to learn more about direct submissions to AIM, Inc.

Did you receive my claim?
Electronic claims: Claims submitted electronically are entered into the system within 1 to 4 business days and you can perform an on-line claims inquiry after 4 business days.
Paper claims: If you submit paper claims, you should allow at least 15 business days after submitting the claim before performing an on-line inquiry.

Why doesn't the payment date and check information for this procedure appear on the claims inquiry screen?
This information will appear on the screen after the check has been mailed out. If it is not listed on the screen, then your claim is still being processed.

Why are my claims being rejected?
We include an "Explanation of Benefits" with each check we mail out. This explains the reason for each claim rejection. You can status individual claims or the entire explanation of benefits directly through our web site. The detailed claims history will tell you exactly why a claim was rejected. If the claim was rejected due to a lack of information, you can resubmit the corrected claim to AIM, Inc. without a phone call.

Can I send claim corrections on-line?
We are currently in the process of developing an on-line claims correction application. This will allow you to send claim corrections directly through our claims history application. This feature will save you the cost of resubmitting an entire claim. Members will be notified by e-mail when this new feature is available.
