Founded in 1989, American Imaging Management ("AIM") is the most experienced diagnostic imaging management company. Through its commitments to providing clients with innovation, clinical excellence, customer service and value, AIM has become the industry leader in creating solutions for the rapidly evolving diagnostic imaging environment. Recent milestones in AIM's history include the following:

- AIM launches new cardiac services management program.
- AIM opens new corporate headquarters in Chicago as well as new data center and call center locations.
- AIM launches Patient Safety program.
- AIM's programs cover over 30 million members.

- AIM launches ProviderPortalSM 2.0. This new version of AIM's ProviderPortalSM delivers additional functionality to physicians using AIM's portal, creating greater efficiency and ease-of-use.
- AIM introduces cost and quality transparency through OptiNet®.
- AIM's programs cover over 20 million members.
- AIM acquired by WellPoint, Inc.

- AIM introduces OptiNet®, the industry's first web-based diagnostic imaging network management tool. OptiNet® provides health plans with an easy-to-use application to manage their imaging provider networks using cost and quality metrics.
- AIM surpasses the one million mark for the number of prior authorization requests received via the ProviderPortalSM in one year. AIM also surpasses the five million mark for total website hits.
- AIM receives re-certification from NCQA and re-accreditation from URAC.

- AIM introduces Imasis®, the industry's first fully functioning, and customizable web-based call center application. This online clinical management system gives health plans the ability to manage outpatient diagnostic imaging within their existing call centers. The reliability, scalability and flexibility offered by Imasis® favorably positions health plans and providers for future advances in technology.
- AIM opens a second operations center in Westchester, Illinois to complement its existing operations center in Deerfield, Illinois. The Westchester operations center allows AIM to accommodate increased capacity resulting from new client partnerships.
- AIM's programs cover over 13 million members.

- AIM receives initial NCQA certification. The certification couples with URAC accreditation initially received by AIM in 1998.
- AIM's programs cover over five million members.

- AIM receives a "Best Practice" in Medical Management recognition from the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association ("BCBSA"). AIM receives additional recognition from BCBSA in 2004 and 2005.

- AIM introduces ProviderPortalSM, the first full-service physician portal in the diagnostic imaging management industry. The ProviderPortalSM offers a broad array of services including real-time, 24/7/365 access to preauthorization, claims, and eligibility information. Physician offices can use the ProviderPortalSM to obtain and confirm preauthorization, check patient eligibility, locate imaging centers, and exchange information with AIM securely.
- AIM is named "Preferred Vendor for Outpatient Imaging Management" by the Health Plan Alliance.
