Thomas Weisman, MD, MS, MBA, CPE is Corporate Chief Medical Officer for American Imaging Management, Inc (AIM). In this role, Dr. Weisman is responsible for overseeing all clinical aspects of AIM's programs, building relationships with key medical and clinical constituencies and ensuring that AIM continues to provide a clinical leadership position within the growing range of outpatient services included in its management programs.

Prior to joining AIM, Dr. Weisman was responsiblefor utilization management, quality and consistency programs, provider and associate education for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Ohio. He led projects to improve care for Anthem seniors in Ohio skilled nursing facilities, to investigate the value propositions for pharmaceuticals in chronic diseases, and works with physicians and hospitals to improve care, measure quality and control cost for Anthem's members. Prior to joining Anthem full-time in June 1998, he practiced primary care Internal Medicine for 21 years in the Eastern Suburbs of Cleveland, as well as holding leadership positions in 2 large group practices as well as a PHO.

Dr. Weisman has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale (1968), Master of Science in Health Science Education (1973), Master of Science in Systems and Control Engineering (1980) and MD (1974) degrees all from Case Western Reserve University, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts (2007). He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has been designated a Certified Physician Executive by the Certifying Commission in Medical Management. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Physician Executives.

Dr. Weisman's wife Lorraine is a child psychoanalyst. They have two married adult sons. He is an avid walker, skier and inline skater.
