MICHAEL BACKUS
Senior Vice President, Analytics

Mike Backus is the Senior Vice President, Analytics for American Imaging Management (AIM). In his role, Mike leads managerial and client reporting, data analysis, and program performance measurement. He has worked with AIM since 2002.

Mike has almost 20 years of experience in health care and management consulting. Prior to joining AIM he spent 10 years operating Backus Associates. The firm provided operational and strategic consulting services to health plans, hospitals, physician groups, and participants in the PBM and specialty pharmacy arenas. Mike has also served as President of a 60,000 capitated member IPA and as a Senior Associate for Booz Allen & Hamilton.

Mike was an Austin Scholar and earned his Masters in Management at the J.L. Kellogg School at Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.
