MAUREEN WHITE, MS, MD, MBA, FACR, CPE
Senior Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, Radiology Programs

Dr. Maureen White is the Senior Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, Radiology Programs for American Imaging Management, Inc. (AIM). She oversees AIM's corporate medical policy and guidelines, clinical projects, and physician reviewers. Her responsibilities include chief spokesperson on medical issues, and guiding the company's vision regarding quality of care and its measurements.

Dr. White joined AIM in 2004 and continues to lead AIM in developing and maintaining clinical strategies to strengthen collaborations with its health plan clients and their members.

Before joining AIM, Dr. White served as a Senior Attending Radiologist at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare (ENH). During her 15 year tenure at ENH, she was appointed as Division Chief for Body Imaging. While at ENH, Dr. White served on multiple institutional and clinical committees. Prior to this work, she was Attending Physician in the Department of Radiology and Assistant Director of Ultrasound at Georgetown University Medical Center. At this time, Dr. White also undertook clinical research work in the Department of Radiology at the National Institutes of Health. Over the preceding two years, Dr. White was Clinical Assistant in Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. White received her Master of Business Administration from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, specializing in finance, marketing and health services management. She completed her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati Medical School, and received her Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. White completed her radiology residency and fellowship in cross-sectional imaging and interventional radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard University Medical School. She completed her transitional internship year in internal medicine at Evanston Hospital, affiliated with Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago, IL.

Dr. White is a Fellow in the American College of Radiology (ACR), and a Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology, the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American College of Physician Executives. She is a member of the American Medical Association, Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, and Society of Gastrointestinal Radiologists. Dr. White has supported organizational medicine through service on multiple committees including the Economic Committee for General and Pediatric Radiology, of the ACR Economics and Health Policy Department, and the ACR CT Accreditation Program Committee.

Dr. White was appointed as Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology at Northwestern University Medical School. For several years, Dr. White served as Section Editor for the journal Abdominal Imaging. She has provided support as an editorial reviewer for multiple medical journals and is co-editor of the book Duplex Sonography, Springer-Verlag Publishers, NY. Dr. White has numerous publications in medical journals and textbooks. She has been an invited speaker at several professional conferences and meetings, on a variety of topics in clinical and administrative medicine. Dr. White has organized highly successful didactic programs on imaging trends in the managed care environment.
