(NYSE: WLP), and leading imaging benefit management and technology company with health plan clients representing over 35 million consumers, announced that it recently launched a diagnostic imaging management program with Regence . Under this agreement, AIM is administering a radiology benefit management program to enhance the appropriate use of advanced diagnostic imaging procedures delivered in an outpatient, non-emergent setting for Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon and Regence BlueShield (in selected counties in Washington). "Given the growing emphasis on improving clinical quality and appropriately managing costs with diagnostic imaging, AIM's innovative programs help to ensure that consumers and providers receive meaningful information and feedback that promote the right test at the right time," said Brandon Cady, president of AIM.
