American Imaging Management, Inc. Announces NCQA Certification in Utilization Management through March 1, 2008

DEERFIELD, IL – March 2, 2006 – American Imaging Management, Inc. (AIM), the leader in intelligent management solutions for diagnostic imaging services, announced that the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has reviewed and certified AIM for Utilization Management functions through March 1, 2008.

NCQA is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to assessing and reporting on the quality of America’s health care. The NCQA Utilization Management Certification is a voluntary quality assessment program that focuses on consumer protection and customer service improvement. Standards recognize that organizations that apply for certification have open access networks, and can improve service quality and utilize customized structures to meet purchaser needs.

“Achieving Utilization Management certification from NCQA demonstrates that American Imaging Management has the systems, processes, and personnel in place to conduct utilization management in accordance with the strictest quality standards,” said NCQA President Margaret E. O’Kane.

Adds David Harrington, CEO of AIM, “The renewal of AIM’s NCQA Utilization Management certification demonstrates AIM’s continuing commitment to providing high quality, customer-oriented, and clinically credible advanced diagnostic imaging utilization management products and services to our health plan partners.”
